It started with a scrawny 2 year old rescue...

Inclined to Whisper was founded in 2017 by Leah Hobbs. Shortly after graduating college and becoming licensed I met the love of my life and we began to build our dream. 

The concept of the facility started in high-school with our first rescue. This underweight, croup high, uncoordinated little pinto mustang stole our hearts and became the start to something beautiful.  After many years in the making and a lot of blood, sweat and tears we have Inclined To Whisper, a place where unwanted, abused, abandoned and wild horses come to turn their lives into something unique.  Everyone loves a good underdog story and that is exactly where we wanted to start. All our performance and lesson horses come from these kinds of backgrounds, undergo extensive physical and mental rehabilitation and training.  In the end- they find their spot in the lives of the children we work with to drive a whole new set of dreams.

The Inclined to Whisper team also known as (#TeamWhisper) consists of Owners and Instructors, Leah and Connor Hobbs along with their beloved assistant manager and secondary instructor.  Along with the occasional intern, camp counselors, guest clinicians and the many, many students and horses that made this place come to life.

Some may find us unconventional, the family from out west that brought their dream, lifestyle and coaching into the tiny town of Larwill, Indiana.  But the success of our horses and riders speaks for themselves. 

We start from the beginning and work our way through the entire process together as a team, whether you're getting on a horse for the first time, or you've owned horses for years and just want a little guidance, we are here to help!
