Restoring equines large and small to a happier and more balanced life

Our Mission

Each and every equine, from the largest to the smallest, deserves to live up to their fullest potential. As their care takers, we have the responsibility to give our equine companions the finest possible care to bring out the best in them.

The equine body is both surprisingly resilient, and yet extremely sensitive. Many equines suffer from physical tension and distress that can then translate into mental and training disabilities. The grumpiness of the mare may not be part of her personality, but instead she may be suffering from hormone imbalances and inadequate energy. Or the reason a horse has been unable to hold proper collection is not their understanding of the cues, but instead the tension they are holding in their body.

Our mission is to bring the life of our equines companions into perfect harmony and balance by using alternative therapies and proper nutrition for the betterment of the horse's performance and health.

Services Provided

Massage

By using a massage gun, trigger point massage, myofascial release, and sport massage techniques, each horse can receive the best therapy for their specific muscular needs.

These promote increased circulation, improved mobility, pain relief, decreased tension, and reduced stress.

Each technique will be chosen to best meet the horse's specific needs.

Acupressure

Acupressure works on specific points on the body that lie along specific meridians or channels of energy that flow through the body.

The goal of acupressure is to restore balance and to regulate the body's channels of energy.

Restoring the energy to balance has a positive effect on the emotions, nervous system, muscular system, and even the organs of the horses.

Supplements, Concentrates, and Topical Solutions

Aromatherapy

Essential oils can have a positive effect on both mind and body. They can have a calming effect, lift the spirits, boost the immune system, and provide anti-inflammatory properties.

These properties can be attained by the horses through the use of aromatherapy.

Aromatherapy also is an easy way to give the horse the chance to participate in choosing their own therapy.

Thermal Imaging

A thermal imaging camera is a great tool to help pinpoint inflammation, observe the efficacy of the circulatory system, and to check for saddle fitting hot spots.

Laser Therapy

Cold Laser therapy uses specific wave lengths of light to interact with tissue at the cellular level by promoting a chain of chemical reactions known as photobiostimuation.

This process can help to relieve pain, stimulate injured cells to heal, reduce inflammation, and activate the lymphatic system all in a non-invasive pain-free therapy that can be used for a variety of acute and chronic conditions.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology tape is a tape with the stretch, weight, and thickness similar to the superficial skin layer. This provides the opportunity for extended soft tissue manipulation. When used, the tape gently lifts the skin from the muscles to allow fluids such as the lymph to flow freely, while also providing support and stability for the muscles without constricting mobility.

This process also promotes decreased pressure, pain relief, increased tissue flexibility, activation of acupoints, increased circulation, and decreased inflammation.
